well the super bowl is won

and my team wasn’t the one

2010 nfl season is done

nba season is halfway gone

all star weekend here it comes

middle of february reprieve from

these endless winter doldrums

but a hint of spring

comes in two weeks

ml baseball teams

are reassembling

my new york yankees

enter spring training

thank heaven for this

and warm march winds

any more snow drifts

and i’ll slit my wrists
